Sunova Centre, R.M. of West St. Paul, Manitoba

The Rural Municipality of West St. Paul, Manitoba is a growing community located immediately north of the City of Winnipeg. With a less hectic country atmosphere, the R.M. provides a basic range of services that meets the needs of its residents. In order to meet the community’s strong cultural and recreational needs, the Sunova Centre (formerly West St. Paul Community Centre), a multi-functional community complex was designed to include a large gymnasium / social hall which can accommodate events for up to 350 persons. The complex also includes a multipurpose room, space for a daycare / nursery school, and areas for fitness programs, senior and youth activities, crafts, and woodworking classes. The community centre also features a second level indoor viewing area overlooking the adjacent outdoor hockey rink.
