York Factory First Nation Nursing Station and Residence

The York Factory First Nation Nursing Station and Residence is located on the eastern bank of the Nelson River in York Landing, Manitoba. York Factory First Nation were relocated from York Factory, Manitoba to York Landing, Manitoba and received official reserve status in 1989. The Nursing Station and Residence is designed to reflect traditional aboriginal approaches to treatment and healing. It includes nursing areas, clinical areas, an adjacent nurses’ residence, patient diagnostic and treatment areas, medical exam rooms and emergency room, dental clinic, community room, and counseling offices.
